Productomschrijving
Product Overview

Fisher Types 1301F and 1301G High-Pressure Regulators are self-operated pressure-reducing regulators designed to handle very high inlet pressures (up to 6000 psig / 414 bar) and deliver a stable, reduced outlet pressure. These regulators are widely used where high-pressure gas needs to be stepped down for pilot supplies or for loading pressure in pilot-operated regulators. They are also suitable for general high-pressure reduction of various gases and compatible liquids.

Their robust design, accurate regulation and versatility make them suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications across oil & gas, chemical, gas distribution, process control, and more.

Features & Advantages
  • Supports inlet pressures up to 6000 psig / 414 bar, enabling use with very high-pressure sources.
  • Two model ranges to match application requirements:

    • 1301F: outlet pressure from 10 to 225 psig (0.69 to 15.5 bar)
    • 1301G: outlet pressure from 200 to 500 psig (13.8 to 34.5 bar)
  • Durable stainless steel diaphragm for reliable performance under high-pressure conditions.
  • Soft-seat valve plug disk for tight shutoff (ANSI Class VI) — minimizes leakage and ensures safety.
  • Spare valve disk provided — increases safety margin and service life.
  • Versatile usage: suitable for gases, air, water, and many compatible liquids (depending on disk/gasket materials)
  • Multiple end connection styles including 1/4″ NPT, or flanged CL300/CL600/CL1500 (or PN 25 RF), facilitating integration into diverse pipeline systems.
  • High and low temperature material options: nylon/Neoprene for standard, PTFE/FKM (or PTFE/EPDM) for high temperature or aggressive media.

Typical Applications

This regulator series is well suited for scenarios such as:

  • Reducing high-pressure gas (natural gas, instrument air, line gas) for pilot-operated regulators or pressure-loaded regulators
  • Gas distribution systems where high inlet pressure must be stepped down to supply instruments or downstream equipment
  • Industrial process control involving air, inert gas, or compatible liquid service under high pressure
  • Chemical plants, refineries, and gas processing facilities needing reliable pressure reduction with tight shutoff
  • Water or other liquid service — with appropriate materials — where pressure reduction is required
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is the 1301F suitable for low-pressure downstream supply? Yes. The 1301F’s outlet range starts from as low as 10 psig, making it suitable for pilot supply or instrument supply applications.

What if my system requires higher outlet pressure (200–500 psig)? Use the 1301G version which supports outlet pressures from 200 to 500 psig.

Can it handle liquids or only gases? With proper disk and gasket materials and within specified limits, the regulator can handle water or compatible liquids, though its primary design is for gas or air.

Is maintenance difficult? No. The regulator has a spare valve disk provided and soft-seat design for reliable shutoff. Periodic inspection is recommended depending on service conditions.

Are there materials suitable for corrosive or high-temperature fluids? Yes. Configurations with PTFE disk and FKM/EPDM gaskets support higher temperatures and more aggressive media.
